WSLR DJ’s Perform Live Tonight at Whole Foods Brew Fest

Friday, March 14th, 6-9pm

WSLR-LP 96.5 and Whole Foods Market will partner again on
the Spring Brews Fest to benefit the radio station on Friday, March 14th
from 6-9pm. For $10, everyone is invited to come down and sample
various beers while enjoying music and community. WSLR will be
broadcasting their first live remote from the event. Highlighting the
diversity of the station, the following programmers will be featured on
the outside stage:

6-6:40pm – Mr. Rhythm, host of “This and That” a Rhythm & Blues
show that airs every Wednesday 12pm-2:30pm, will spin R&B.

6:40-7:15pm – Russ Yodice, host of “Ripper’s Rarities”
every Friday 7-9pm, will spin Rock and Roll Rarities

7:15-7:55pm – DJ SinnaG, host of “DJ SinnaG’s House
Party” every Friday 9-11pm, will spin House Music.

7:55-8:30pm – John Osgood, host of “The Louisiana Gumbo
Show” every Sunday 7-9pm, will spin Cajun and Zydeco tunes.

8:30-9pm – Singer-Songwriter Anne Feeney will close out the evening.

Anne Feeney will also be performing inside the store from 6-8:30pm as
Whole Foods Market offers special tastings throughout the store. Feeney
has been dubbed the “minister of culture” to the movements for economic
and social justice and human rights. Anne is “the best labor singer in
North America” according to Utah Phillips. Get ready for folk, reggae,
blues and lilting Irish music from this intelligent, witty, wild woman
for peace and justice.
