About Adam:

Experienced From 1985 until he resigned to run for office in 2008, Adam Tebrugge has spent his entire career serving this community in the Public Defender’s Office of the 12th Judicial Circuit. After laboring in both the misdemeanors and felonies divisions for 5 years, Adam advanced to the capital division in 1991 where he tried the most complex and serious cases that come before the courts. His cases included more than 100 homicides.

Knowledgeable In 1982, Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from New College in Sarasota. He majored in religion and political science and interned in Governor Bob Graham’s press and speechwriting offices before continuing his education at the Florida State University College of Law. Before graduating with honors in 1984, Adam served on the editorial staff of the FSU Law Review and interned with Florida Supreme Court Justice Raymond Ehrlich. He is a member of the Order of the Coif.
