Dear Jane Blanchard,
I tuned in late to Tuesday’s show and only got the last fifteen minutes, but I thought it was great to hear someone finally talk about the overly prudish attitude that so many Americans/westerners have toward the human body.
Those weren’t the exact words used, but for your guest to point out that Sweden and some other European countries have lower numbers of un-expected pregnancies, and much healthier attitudes about their bodies, was so progressive. Please accept, and pass along my compliments to (you and) your guest, for offering an enlightened outlook.
We have so far to go, to reach any level of civil discourse about the human body and spirit, that I fear more ignorance from the “religious right” will thwart any progress that could be made.
Thank you so much for a healthy contribution
to the Sarasota airwaves.
Sincerely,
Marco Bell (Husband of Monica Spain)
