Join WSLR as we count down the best indie rock songs of the past year. 2008 gave us a slew of great, new, indie music releases. We’ve taken it upon ourselves to sweat the list down to the 25 best songs. And then, just to make things more fun, we decided to rank them.
Tune in to WSLR on Thursday, January 1st as host Joel Jaffe brings you this very special edition of The indie Files. The countdown starts at 9:00 PM and will end sometime around 11:00, with the best song of 2008.
What is indie music? Some people refer to it as “modern rock.” We like to call it “music on independent labels with an independent spirit.”
