This week on Florida-Caribe, hosts Johannes Werner and Pablo Brescia discuss U.S. policy changes in Honduras.

“The Obama Administration just made a rather unexpected U-turn in Honduras, pointing straight back to the Cold War. This raises the bar for social movements and the left-leaning governments they have brought to power throughout Latin America. But it eventually may also prove costly to U.S. taxpayers,” say the Florida-Caribe hosts.

Four days before the coup regime is scheduled to hold a presidential election in the small Central American nation, Johannes and Pablo will talk with activists from the Quixote Center in Tegucigalpa about the situation on the ground.

They will also bring you the usual roundup of news and tunes from our neighborhood, the Caribbean.

Tune in this Tuesday, 9-10 am, to WSLR 96.5 LP FM, your one and only grassroots radio station in the Caribbean.
