REVIEW: Not a bad concert at all.
A little shorter because of the threat of having the power cut off around midnight, but otherwise quite
enjoyable. I got to sit on the stage right in front of Uncle Jerry for most of the show. Got lots of photos
including Jerry with NRPS. This was just a few days before the Fillmore (Ladies & Gentlemen).
REVIEW: Sounds like it was a fun time
I used to have this tape years ago but have since lost it so its great to be able to get it again. I always liked
this show alot, its not on many ppl’s lists but its a fun show with some funny banter by the boys. They
seem to be in a great mood and the music is tight as is most of the spring 71 tour. Nice sbd quality as well.

REVIEW: In some state of psychedelia…
…I was there at my only Grateful Dead show while in college at Colby in Waterville. Remember being
there and that is all. Hey, I’m still alive and now a ‘wharf rat’ but definitely not then.
REVIEW: My First Dead Show
This was my first Dead show…i was 13. I remember a lot of the details vividly. Jerry played steel with the
NRPS and when their set ended, half of the crowd left, thinking they’d seen the Dead because Jerry was
out there. Brilliant. The band came out and played EVERYTHING…until the house lights got turned on.
They just kept playing…until the power was cut. Garcia was PISSED. He said that they’d never play
Bangor again and…guess what?…they didn’t. Portland, Lewsiton, Orono, Oxford, Augusta…never in
Bangor again. This was a really great show. Glad that I’m just old enough to have gotten to see Pigen a few
times.
