Navigating a life completely different in appearance and societal position today, Jean-David, underwent a gender transition, from female to male, at the age of forty-five years old. Now, at the year anniversary of his physical transition, Jean-David speaks openly about the experiences he has encountered regarding this life-changing event and why he was so reluctant to transition. Using his own experiences as a tool, he hopes to enlighten his audiences with his unique perspective as a transgender individual in our society emphasizing "self" acceptance and sharing with others how to, "swim against the current" successfully.
