This forum will focus on censorship and how the Sarasota community can come together to fight back. Panelists will include Lois Wilkins, Chair of the African American Cultural Resource Center, Rabbi Jennifer Singer, spiritual leader of congregation Kol HaNeshama, and Georgia Court, owner of BookStore1 and founder of PoetryLife.
In the wake of a trio of hate laws passed by the Florida legislature, Support Our Schools asks: How can Sarasota schools, students, teachers, and staff be protected from book banning, censorship, and harassment?
