Emerging Artist Showcase

The opening night of The Emerging Artist Showcase which feature emerging performing artists as well as visual artists.  Come out and support the alternative arts landscape in Sarasota .

CALL TO ARTISTS:
Are you new to making art or trying something new with your art making? This is what it means to be emerging. This exhibit is open to all ages.   This call is free and open for any style of 2D medium art. Please send to fogartyvilleart@gmail.com a maximum of three jpg photographs and sizes of your work to be considered for this show.

Emerging performing artists (poets, musicians, actors) are also invited to submit a sample of their original work in a chance to be selected to perform their work at the opening reception on Friday, February 1.  Performing artists should submit a short video along with a description of their work.

Emerging Artist Showcase Important Dates:

Submission Deadline: Friday, January 25, 2019

Drop off date:  Sunday, January 27, 2019, 11am-2pm

Opening reception: Friday, February 1, 2019, 8-11pm

Pick up date:  Monday, April 1, 3-7pm
