The Sarasota Jazz Club celebrates their 40th anniversary this year. The Jazz Trolley includes eight venues in the downtown area with Fogartyville among them. Hop on! Hop off! at as many stops as you desire.
The Mark Moultrup Trio will perform at Fogartyville. Mark Moultrup is a jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, arranger, and educator. His compositions are featured on his CDs and cassettes, and have also been heard on promo spots, childrens’ CDs and television. He has produced for other artists as well as for himself, and has written arrangements for a variety of ensembles from trio to big band. In the year 2000 Mark co-founded and co-directed the Petoskey Jazz Festival. Mark has performed and recorded with a diverse array of notable artists including Smokie Robinson, Mike Stern, Marcus Belgrave, Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin, Leslie Gore, Lou Christie, Johnny Trudell, Lincoln Goines, and Rodney Whitaker.
