The Caribbean is revered for its striking Turquoise colored waters on long stretches of white sandy beaches, balmy warm winds, palm trees and tropical vegetation in the lush mountain countryside, and slow, easy lifestyle that visitors refer to as, Island Time. While all that is found on Caribbean islands, so is a strong sense of pride in celebrating their historic legacy with Caribbean Carnival. These festivals are prepared months in advance by building colorful floats, costumes, masks, headdresses all passionately displayed in annual marching street parties with captivating music, drumming and dance.

Fogartyville is enthusiastic about hosting this celebration with the Island Time art exhibition. Please contact Fogartyvilleart@gmail.com with your Caribbean Carnival ideas to be included in this exciting festival.
