General Venue Information

Where are you located?
Fogartyville is co-located at 525 Kumquat Court with WSLR Community Radio. The entrance to Fogartyville is on the west side of the building, one block east of Lemon Avenue and just south of Blvd of the Arts.

What are your hours?
Fogartyville is an event-driven venue. We are open only when we have events scheduled. Please check the Fogartyville Events Page for a listing of upcoming events.

When is the box office open?
Our box office is open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM. Call (941) 894-6469 during these hours for assistance with tickets, membership benefits, or event information.

Where can I park?
Limited parking is available at the entrance to Fogartyville. If you need a handicapped-accessible space, please call us in advance at (941) 894-6469 to reserve one. Once the small lot is full, please refer to our parking map for additional nearby options.

Are you a nonsmoking venue?
Yes, Fogartyville is a smoke-free venue—including vaping. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas outside the building. Smoking is not allowed on the patio when patio seating is in use.

What’s it like inside Fogartyville?

Ticketing & Seating Policies

Do I have a ticket if I’ve pre-registered but haven’t been charged yet?
Yes! When you pre-register, your seat is reserved. You’ll receive a confirmation email even if your card has not yet been charged.

When will my card be charged?
Cards are charged 48 hours prior to the event. This helps us avoid credit card processing fees in case refunds are needed due to cancellations or changes.

Can I get a refund after my card is charged?
We do not offer refunds once payment has been processed, which occurs 48 hours before the event. Please plan accordingly.

What if an event is canceled?
If canceled before charges are processed, your card won’t be charged. If canceled after, we will reach out to offer credit toward a future event whenever possible.

How will I know if I’ve been charged?
You’ll receive a confirmation email when your card is successfully charged. If you’re unsure of your payment status, contact us at info@wslr.org or call (941) 894-6469.

Can I apply the cost of an unused ticket toward a membership?
Unfortunately, no. Tickets and memberships serve different purposes. Ticket revenue supports the artists and event production, while membership contributions help sustain our nonprofit operations and programming.

Is it okay to reserve seats for many events and then cancel?
We strongly discourage this practice. Our seating is limited, and we want as many people as possible to experience the incredible artists, speakers, films, and workshops we host. Please avoid using reservations as placeholders—only register if you truly intend to attend.

How do I use my complimentary member tickets or member discounts?
To redeem these benefits, please call our box office at (941) 894-6469 before purchasing tickets. Our ticketing system does not automatically sync with membership records, so discounts must be applied manually. Once a ticket is purchased online, we cannot retroactively apply member benefits.

Is seating general admission?
Most ticketed events feature reserved indoor seating. If indoor seats sell out, we open our shaded patio for general admission, weather permitting.


Food & Drink

Can I bring my own refreshments?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted unless otherwise noted. We offer beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase at events.

Is food available at events?
Yes, we often host rotating food trucks. They begin serving when doors open (typically one hour before showtime) and usually serve until the start of the second set. Snacks are also available at the Fogartyville Bar.


Performance & Artist Info

What is a listening room?
Fogartyville is a dedicated listening room. Applause, laughter, and appropriate audience engagement are encouraged—but conversation during performances is distracting to fellow attendees and performers. Please keep talking to before, between, or after sets.

Can I bring my camera to a show?
Our camera policy varies. No professional cameras, detachable lenses, or flash are allowed unless specifically approved in advance by the artist and venue.

How do I book my band at Fogartyville?
Artists interested in performing should email an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) to Ariel Aparicio-Jerro at ariel@wslr.org.
