You’re invited to WSLR+Fogartyville’s Be The One-a-Thon, 24 hours of live independent, local radio and performances and art activations in honor of the 2026 Giving Challenge from noon Wednesday, April 15-noon Thursday, April 16.
The Giving Challenge is an exciting 24-hour giving event that brings together more than 700 local nonprofits with passionate donors and community members to support causes and missions they care about while creating transformative impact.
We’ve invited fellow nonprofits Community Harvest SRQ, Mosaic Movements, Sarasota Pops Orchestra, Support Our Schools, Truly Valued, and UnidosNow to be part of the telethon-style fun!
Highlights of the Be The One-a-Thon include:

- Talk of the Town: A WSLR News Roundtable (irreverent edition)
- Pop, rock and classics singalong with David Osher
- Telethon-themed Drink & Draw (with DJ Milo)
