Don’t miss an electrifying blend of incredible live music, amazing artists and musicians, head-spinning spoken-word poets, a sizzling DJ mix and networking on Saturday, March 12 at the GBM Soul Cafe Artists Showcase and Spoken Word Open Mic, live at the Fogartyville Community Media and Art Center in Sarasota.
Doors will open at 7pm as DJ Rozay sets the mood with his musical mix. At 8pm the fun will continue as local poets take the stage to participate in the Open Mic hosted by Melanie Lavender. At 9pm featured performers from Greatness Beyond Measure will present the GBM Soul Café. The artists lineup includes: Jamie Law – Café Host & Artist, Special Guest Whit the Poet, Charlie Melton, Nickela Winfield, Jahkori D. and Kia Dixon. Greatness Beyond Measure, aka “GBM” provides a positive platform for aspiring young adults and teen artists, musicians, poets, dancers, entrepreneurs, and others to showcase their creative gifts and talents by providing an array of wholesome events and activities.
