Fogartyville’s second event in the Death Talk series is an open circle discussion focused on viewing death through the lens of faith,theology, philosophy, religion and spirituality.
Joining us will be Rabbi Jennifer Singer, Community Rabbi and Dean at Sarasota Liberal Yeshiva; Rev. Amy Zehe, Spiritual Care Pastoral Minister at Unity of Sarasota; Pastor Jo Thomas of Community Bible Church Sarasota; and Lama Rina Otero of Sarasota Meditation and Art Center.
Invitations for personal reflection, creativity and meditation will be interwoven into the discussions.
Bring a journal, sketch pad or poetry/prayer book along and your questions regarding how different faith practices address fear, loss, grief and spiritwithin their communities.
