Several veterans of the John Danser Big Band, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Leon Merian Big Band, Sarasota Orchestra, The Airmen Of Note and The Peter Duchin Orchestra, Ringling Brothers Orchestra and others have come together to form the Ocean’s Eleven Big Band
Led by the extraordinary drummer Bryan Post, Ocean’s Eleven keeps the Big Band ERA alive and plays a wide repertoire of arrangements & favorites from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich , Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Arturo Sandoval, Quincy Jones, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, Hugh Masekela and also contemporary artists and arrangers. The Ocean’s Eleven Big Band maintains the great swing and infectious rhythms of a super groovin’ big band. The Band is also able to tailor its repertoire to suit any event.
The Ocean’s Eleven Big Band is an 11-piece little big band consisting of 4 brass, 3 saxophones, piano, bass, drums and vocalist, which combines authentic swing and excitement that serious jazz audiences expect and deserve.
The band also features renowned vocalists Katt Hefner , John Rinell, Maggie Clement singing the music of Sinatra, Buble, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Harry Connick Jr., and other current jazz & R&B artists.
