The final in a series of four events hosted by Spoken Word artist Melanie Lavender. The Open Mic will be curated this month and feature some of the best-received poets that have participated in the Open Mics over the past few months. Audiences will enjoy the poetry of Forever Florida, Tash Shabazz, Becca Hadwen and Christa South. There will also be a special segment highlighting students from Booker Middle School that participate in Joanna Fox’s Dragonfly Cafe.
Our featured performer will be our awesome event host Melanie Lavender. Doors open at 7pm. Curated Open Mic at 8pm. Featured performer at 9pm.
Food will be available from C&D’s Sandwich Shop.
