On Monday, Manatee County is expected to issue a burn ban, due to drought. On Tuesday, the Sarasota County Commission will discuss defunding the Economic Development Corporation, Commissioner Moran will propose ending the local business tax, and planners will seek guidance on the Sarasota Fairgrounds, which Moran wants to be sold to developers.
