It’s budget season. The City of North Port Commission will meet on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the 2025 budget; on Wednesday it will discuss expanding its bonding authority. On Tuesday, the City of Venice Council will approve a million-dollar settlement with developer Pat Neal and discuss how to turn a cement plant into a park.
