Host: This is Ryan Stanley with your Activist Calendar. Manatee County Commissioner Kevin Van Ostenbridge is holding a town hall meeting to hear public comment regarding a proposed veterans housing project on Cortez Road. The town hall happens on Saturday August 19, from 9am to 11am at the Manatee County utilities building 4410 66th Street West in Bradenton.
Also in Manatee County, work on developing the 2045 plan is underway and residents are invited to provide feedback on the comprehensive plan at the Braden River Library, 4915 53rd Avenue East in Bradenton on Wednesday, August 23 at 6pm. This is the last event of a series.
