Bruce and Perri Parkman are advocates for informing parents of the risks of mental illness from early exposure to concussive trauma in contact sports. They founded the Mac Parkman Foundation, named after their son, who took his own life due to the effects of repetitive hit injuries he endured as a competitive athlete. Bruce is the author of Youth Contact Sports and Broken Brains and host of the Broken Brains podcast.
