Originally from Detroit and now residing in Tampa, Florida, S.G. Wood is an award-winning singer-songwriter with a new album coming out early next year. His music is an Americana mix of Folk, Country, Rock and Bluegrass served up on an old Gibson Flat Top guitar. S.G.’s style is both aggressive and gentle conveying a full spectrum of emotions serving up musical stories of love, heartbreak and the light and dark adventures of humanity. He’s fond of his time playing in THE HUMMINGBIRDS and credits it for being an amazing period of musical growth that led him to where he is now as a solo artist and the frontman of a new band, DUDE WATERS, featuring some of the best musicians in the Tampa Bay area. His music can be heard in several movies, and he has opened shows for the likes of Paul Thorn, Son Volt, Dave Alvin, The Kentucky Headhunters and more.

Kip Kelly is a local songwriter to the Tampa Bay Area, originally from the Midwest. Fans of Guy Clark and Hayes Carll will immediately identify with his approach to heartfelt and well-crafted music. Kip writes about what’s real- and it shows in his songs. Born just outside of Gary, IN, Kip moved to Florida in 2003. He picked up a guitar in 2008 while mourning the loss of his mother. Within a few months, he was attending local open mics performing songs by songwriting heavyweights John Prine and Townes Van Zandt, but it wasn’t long before the urge to write his songs appeared. “I was spending a lot of late night couch time just strumming, when one day I went to a local Sam Ash, and a guy showed me what I later learned was a Travis picking style, but at the time I just remember thinking ‘hey that sounds like a bunch of John Prine songs that I like”. I must have spent the next 6 months just fingerpicking the same three chords until everyone in my house was sick of it. Eventually, some words started popping in my head and then a bunch of songs came out” The first of this batch, not surprising, was called “Mother’s Day”. It was written on a Mother’s Day morning following his mother Denise’s passing in 2010. Kip thought enough of this initial work to enter it in songwriting contest in “American Songwriter Magazine” which earned him an honorable mention and a listing in the magazine. Inspired by this initial endorsement of his writing, Kip continued his writing pursuit. “I tend to write songs about things I love, places I love and people I love. I guess that’s because the memories of those things tend to be quite strong – which makes it easier to get their unique details into the song. Those details, I think, are what make a song poignant and allow you to connect with the listener” In 2019, Kip entered and won a local songwriting contest judged by Austin’s Sam Baker and Nashville’s Rod Picott earning him a spot in the St.Petersburg Songwriter’s Festival along side some of Texas’s finest songwriters. Kip has recently opened for Slaid Cleaves and Rod Picott and has begun working on recording his first record.

Rob Osenton is a versatile musician and a dedicated presence in Tampa Bay’s music scene, known for his impressive guitar work and collaborations with SG Wood and Dude Waters, Mountain Holler and the New Dawn, Adam Randall, and The Band of Sorrows, along with his own band, Paper Moon Caravan. Following his 2022 solo debut Masks, he released Live at Crowbar in 2024 with his band Paper Moon Caravan and is currently completing Everything is Beautiful, a mostly acoustic, country and Americana inspired album recorded at his studio, Rob Bot Sound. 2025 will also see the release of Paper Moon Caravan’s studio debut, A Believable Lie, an album expanding on the sound and themes heard on Masks.
