JK and the Contraband are a Central Florida-based collective blending modern funk, jazz, and groove-driven fusion into a sharp, forward-thinking sound. Led by John Krasula (JK), the band has built a reputation for tight musicianship and fiery local shows. Featuring John Krasula on guitar, Patrick Moreno on keys, Thomas Milovac on bass, Daniel Bonnet on saxophone and Johnbern Thomas on drums.

They will  deliver a genre-blurring live experience fusing jazz, funk, and improvisation with the raw energy of ‘90s alternative rock. The first set reimagines classic ’90s alt-rock and grunge icons—including Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, and Queens of the Stone Age—into atmospheric, groove-driven arrangements. The second set dives into cinematic, high-energy original compositions blending jazz fusion, hip-hop rhythms, and psychedelic textures.”
