Sing and play with your tiny tots at this FREE family-friendly Suncoast ReMake Learning Festival kick off event! The class will be led by Sara Nelms, a licensed Music Together® teacher and independent singer-songwriter. Designed for children ages 0 – 5, families will engage in making and moving to music together while fostering early childhood experiences of self-expression and creative play. Siblings are welcome to participate.
Music Together classes include activities of singing, playing instruments (provided) and moving to music that nurtures each child’s natural musicality in a playful, musically rich learning environment. The classes are designed to be non-formal and non-performance oriented, so each child can learn at his or her own pace, in a way that’s developmentally appropriate.
About Sara: Sara Nelms (Ms. Sara) has taught Music Together in NYC, Tampa, Sarasota, and Bradenton. She now shares music with families through weekly classes at her new center, Singing with Sara! Singing With Sara is a licensed Music Together center.
Sara Nelms is also a singer songwriter. You may have seen her performing around town in bars, restaurants, farmers markets and other special events. Sara has a music degree from The Florida State University, has lived in Nashville and NYC as a performer, toured nationally, and has recorded the full length, all original album, Lover, No Longer, released in 2013.
