Renee Ryckman received her Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of North Dakota and her MBA from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. After pursuing a career in healthcare administration, she shifted her focus to entrepreneurship, co-founding two businesses.
Ms. Ryckman finds joy in giving back to her adopted home of Sarasota and has volunteered with many nonprofit organizations, including WSLR Fogartyville, Children First, Forty Carrots, Junior League, ALSO Youth, and The Education Foundation.
When Renee isn't hosting The Local Current, she enjoys reading, listening to music and traveling the world in search of adventure.
