The past eight years have been a time of advancement for the rights of the LGBTIQ community, but that is all about to change. Maria Sjodin (above) deputy director of OutRight Action International, a global gay human rights organization will join Steve and Lew to talk about the troubling signals coming from the new administration.
And speaking the new administration, Susan Smith president of the Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida will help Steve and Lew unpack that “presidential” speech given earlier this week to the joint session of Congress. Apparently, acting your age for about an hour is the only qualification for appearing “presidential.” Talk about grade inflation and lowered expectations.
