On Monday, there will be a City of Sarasota Commission meeting with a packed agenda. Among others, Vice Mayor Ahearn-Koch would like the commission to rescind a vote that added attainable-housing incentives to the comprehensive plan. At the Sarasota School Board meeting on Tuesday, Bridget Ziegler will argue the school district should push back against the federal government’s inclusion of transgender students in Title IX protections. On Wednesday, the City of Bradenton will vote on the creation of a fund for indigent healthcare, and the City of Sarasota Planning Commission will weigh Benderson Development’s mixed-use application for the Southgate Mall property.
