Preserving wild places and American housing on Peace & Justice, March 2 at 9am!

Written by on Monday, February 28, 2022

This Wednesday at 9am our first guest on the Peace & Justice Report will be Christine Johnson, President of the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast which has permanently protected more than 18,877 acres of critical lands. “Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast works with you to save land, forever, conserving those special places that shape our cultural heritage, make our region extraordinary, and our quality of life superb.”

Next we’ll talk to Professor Andrew Ross. He’s written a new book about housing, Sunbelt Blues – The Failure of American Housing. It’s an “eye-opening investigation of America’s rural and suburban housing crisis, told through a searing portrait of precarious living in Disney World’s backyard.” He’ll be speaking at New College’s Seiner Auditorium on March 9 at 7pm. Admission is free.

Then Bob will interview a fellow he met recently, David Hawthorne, President of Astroview, a Vedic (HIndu) astrology consultive and educational company.
