Indigenous Sounds Monday November 10, from 9-11 EST., on WSLR 96.5 FM in Sarasota, Florida and WBPV 100.1 Bradenton, Florida will have Twilla Barnes a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Ms. Barnes is a professional genealogist who specializes in Cherokee genealogy, and blogger on the Thoughts from Polly’s Granddaughter website.

Indigenous Sounds will also have as a guest Jonathan Taylor from the Taylor Policy Group. The Taylor Policy Group provides economic and public policy research to Native governments, corporations, and consortia. Native nations use our research for internal decision-making, in negotiations, for tribal policy, and in contested proceedings. Taylor Policy Group brings expertise spanning natural resource economics, gaming policy, impact analysis, economic development strategy, taxation, and the governance of tribal corporations.
