This Wednesday, August 12 at 9am, our first guest will be Adam Tebrugge, a defense attorney practicing in Bradenton. We’ll talk about criminal justice reform, the death penalty, how COVID-19 has affected the courts, and about the upcoming elections for State Attorney, Sheriff and Judge.
Adam has practiced before the criminal bar throughout Florida’s 12thJudicial Circuit, which includes Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto counties, since 1984 and has handled thousands of criminal cases at the trial and appellate levels.
Our second guest will be Michael Knox of the U.S. Peace Memorial Foundation. Since 2005, the US Peace Memorial Foundation has directed a nationwide effort to honor Americans who stand for peace by publishing the US Peace Registry, awarding the US Peace Prize, and fundraising for the US Peace Memorial in Washington, DC. They recognize thoughtful and courageous Americans and U.S. organizations that have taken a public stand against one or more U.S. wars or have devoted their time, energy, and other resources to finding peaceful solutions to international conflicts. They celebrate these role models to inspire other Americans to speak out against war and to work for peace.
