October 5th at 9am we’ll first talk to author Ella Colic who wrote the book Trees Without Roots. Ella will discuss her family’s harrowing escape from Bosnia during the war, as well as the far-reaching effects of the current war in Ukraine. Her book is a true story about the heroic and painful journey of her father and his sister, who dodged mortars and experienced death all around them when they were children trying to escape the Bosnian War. She says it parallels what Ukrainians are experiencing today.
On the second half of the show, Bob has invited Dr. Carlos Santo to talk about the book Me and Lee: How I Came to Know, Love and Lose Lee Harvey Oswald.
