“Yesterday’s Dead Today”, Monday, July 20th, 7-9pm Eastern

Written by on Sunday, July 19, 2020

“It is said that, if you lined up all those who have ever been to a Grateful Dead concert head-to-toe, the line would stretch around the moon, and about halfway back. And nobody would complain!”

WSLR is slowly coming back with a very sparse number of live studio programmers, albeit with very specific instructions as to how to protect both ourselves and our fellow WSLR volunteers.

Opening up tonight, a salute to the Moon Landing, on this date in 1969:
Grateful Dead, Standing On The Moon, Cardinal Stadium, July 6, 1990

Then, tonight, IMHO, a very laid-back, mellow, yet nice and tight evening, for the most part, I feel I hear Keith playing backline to the rest of the band. And both Donna Jean and Keith are very enjoyable to my ear all around
as well. And, to boot, a staggeringly-detailed Jerry soundboard!
