This is a make-up show from a cancellation of 11/25/78. I was at the
Capitol Theatre the night before, 11/24…the famous “laryngitis”
show.

I don’t usually post reviews of writers pissing on band members, nor
do I post long reviews. That being said, these reviews are from this
recording:
REVIEW: FAVORITE Black Peter
Hands down my favorite Black peter ever……..

REVIEW: Jerry under the weather
This is the sort of tape I used to listen to. A soundboard with Jerry
under the weather. I’ll listen and think about some more later.

These reviews are from other recordings:
REVIEW: Top 5 of ’79
This is a legendary show for good reason. Great tunes, and great sound
quality thanks to Barry G!

REVIEW: live dead
saw this show with my good friend “slats”man those were the days!this
was a make up show, and i’m so glad i made it then and am are able to
listen now, hahaha igotto go,peace and love all you groovy cats, much
very large hunks of brownies to you cats that hook us up here with
these tunes,mahalo,kidos!!!

REVIEW: –
Reasonably good show.

REVIEW: Good Show
Scarlet>Fire is Sick

REVIEW: Jimminy Jillickers!
this is a re-scheduled show that was supposed to be from november
’78. They broke out with the most killer beat it on down the line i’ve
ever heard. Jerry tears his guitar to shreds in the first set like nobody’s
business. You could tell they were making up for the rescheduling
throughout this especially long show.

REVIEW: Happy Birthday
When Jerry’s illness cancelled this show in Nov 78, I couldn’t believe
the make up date. It was my 18th Birthday! What a fuckin asskickin
show! Wanted Scarlet-Fire all the way up to New Haven and sure
enough, got one! Every minute of this show was a great time. Maybe
turning 18 at a Dead show makes it just a little “better”!

REVIEW: 11.25 Cancellation
I remember the lights were off, we we were “on” and Bobby & Mickey
coming out with the news of Jer on the respirator, i cannot recall a
single boo nor anything said negative whatsoever, alot of “Man I hope
Jer will be allright” We went up to a bar on the corner and listen to an
impromtu elvis impersonator while we slammed down Balantine XXX
Ale. The make-up show started with a Shakedown which was a “I told
ya I’ll be back” reassurance for us Jersey Freaks, this and the
Springfield 1-15th were great times.

You get the picture…
