REVIEW: That smelled fine, cut grass and dust
This was my second show, but really my first, where I stepped off the curb for so long….We snuck in and
slept on the train tracks and sat on the hay bales with some crew guys getting high and all the people in
the world came running from the east when they opened the gates. What a day! Two stages and so much
dust from dancing and i was impressed trying to be cool in a sea of vuarnets trying to really figure out the
adulation. Then all alone inside the colors and happysunshine and chaos Jerry did reach under the ground
and pulled that searing Black Peter from where cold real sacred things live and delivered it whole into my
mind where it sits like a hard gem still. And right then, that very then, I fell off the curb climbed aboard
and rode, more or less, the only thing going in our culture ’till portland ’95 when he waved goodbye. I’m
glad to have found this, though I almost fear to listen….

REVIEW: Wicked Cool West LA Fadeaway
…let the boys take you on a tour of a more slinky/seedy side of the LA scene. The instrumental dance
between the band while they played this is amazingly jazzy bluesy cool. The show is unquestionably a
frickin rock’n rollin’ good time. The West LA is a highlight of a highlight

REVIEW: Quality Show
fine versions of Althea, China Rider, West La, and Black peter which Jerry really stretches out and gets
several peaks from…check it out this show sounds very good with lots of bottom end

REVIEW: sounds great
this is a fun feelin’ show

REVIEW: Imagine a field of long grass,
tie dyed silk parachutes suspended above, a stage tucked back against the treeline, and happy hippies
field-tripping on a hot, sunny Oregon day — It was my 23 birthday.

REVIEW: Shoshonee medicine
It pissed rain the night before and into the morning. Rolling Thunder (The man, not the band) came out
and did some crazy-ass injun dance and the rain went away. Peter Rowan came out and played a few bars.
The boys took the stage for a while. After the last encore, the clouds gathered quickly and it pissed rain
for two days.

REVIEW: A Mind Melter
My mind is a dripping mess of goo after hearing this one, great show. Energetic Playin>Drums, as a user
stated below the crystal must be kicking in full steam during Playin and you can hear it. Bobby is coming
out of his pants singing the “Bob songs” of the 2nd set, also some interesting lyric changes made in
Truckin that make for an interesting time.

REVIEW: Among the best shows ever
I was 21 at this show, and it is far and away at the top of my list. I’ve only been to 35ish, shows, but
having lived in SFO and Oregon, this one was special.Just listen to Jerry’s spot-on guitar leads, and
Bobby’s intense vocals. While watching this show, you could just tell from the first song, this was going
to be ‘great’. And it was. A warm day, perfectly tuned instruments, Mickey was on fire, Bobby and Jerry
were in another fine-tuned dimension.I remember it like it was yesterday, almost a ‘mini-woodstock’ but
perfect weather, perfect songs, everything was ‘in tune’ on this day in ’82 in Oregon.

REVIEW: Ultra-fantastic music and environment!!
After being there it is hard for me to imagine anyone rating it less than 5 stars. Sunny day in Kesey’s back
yard, middle of the woods with the Prankster’s and the Flying Karamazov Bros. The music was fantastic,
the volume was cranked, and I am not sure I will ever recover.

REVIEW: yeah it was hot n sunny n dusty
i remember i had a fresh bottle, and the Day Job ,hah, thats about it…. Oh and .the Duprees was cool,
…Sadly, the most clear memory i have of this show, which was going in ,thats why i can recall this,…was
some heads right by the entry zone had signs ” Boycott this show,Dont support Jerrys Junk Habit !!!” ,…i
was like “Huh ??” i guess i sorts kinda knew,i forget ,but didnt really think about it,or at that time ,the
concern level was not as strong or well known….anyway,Thanx Jerry,U ROCK !!!!!
