REVIEW: Thanks for the upgrade
Great sound. Thanks for the upgrade CM. IMHO, a mediocre show (though better than much of 94′)
highlighted by a truly Grate Terrapin. Recall the “Mock Turtle Jam” from the Cap Center 1990.3.15 show
following that Terrapin… This Shoreline 94′ performance seems like an extension of those musical ideas.
Though supposedly the boys “never played the same show twice” and they probably didn’t realize it, these
two renditions sound similar. First set see’s Jerry “sing along” songs and though, “Dont Ease” hadn’t been
played in well over a year, did we really miss it? Playin’ Is plain sloppy, with Jer seeming out of the loop.
UJB picks up a little steam but is still short of high quality. After Terrapin the show picks up momentum
with a solid Drums segment and quality renditions of Stella Blue and Baby Blue. So basically we have an
above average show for a fairly weak year. IMHO 94′ is the weakest year of GD performances next to 92′.
This show is dwarfed by the awesome October 1st Boston show just a few weeks later.

5 Star Sound, REMASTERED MILLER
2 Star performance pre-Terrapin, picks up to steady 3
Total’s a 4.

REVIEW: I was happy to see the show…
Sorry that we couldn’t all be born in the “golden age of the dead”. I was grateful for every show i made it to.
My favorite song was well played, “Peggy O”. I always loved Shoreline shows, my first ever show being
6/21/89. There were highlights in every show, especially if you were there to experience the true flow. I
remember boogeying with a hot little lady up by the wind masts up top during its all over now….. The drum
circle during set break was amazing….. Bag on us late comers and the band all you want for the last years, It
was still the best years of my life…. Anytime i can hear a sbd of a show i was at i will give it a 4…..

REVIEW: Been Waiting a Long Time!
Thanx Jeff and Brad. Nice job. Shoreline had suspect sound unless you were down low or center in the
upper seating. I have seen tons of shows there starting with the Dead’s inaugural 1987 run. This was one of
my last GD shows and have not heard it since. Capable Dead. Eternity goes out there, hard to argue with a
Playin>Uncle John’s to open set II. The Stella is a monster. I am playing Same Thing and Eternity>Don’t
Ease on my radio show this week.

REVIEW: What a night!
This was the show where I got it, and even listening back ten years (and thousands of hours of Dead
listening) later, it’s exceptionally strong, especially for the near-the-end era. This was the Dead’s
second-to-last run at Shoreline, and the last one where they actually played well.
Highlights include a monstrous Terrapin, and and a Stella Blue that’s out of this world. Over heard in the
bathroom after the show : “How’d you like that Stella Blue?” “Yeah, that was the way it was *meant* to be
played!”

REVIEW: Great Show
To start with, I never got to see the Grateful Dead live (except on video, of course) I did catch Ratdog in
Wash, DC the day before Jerry’s memorial where I met Bobby and I got on the bus. That said, I like this
show. I am not a big fan of Vince but it does look to me that fall ’94 was a period where the Dead had their
act together and some good shows resulted. I give it 5 stars cos the energy and feeling is there.

REVIEW: Surprisingly Good!
Despite the date, this show is actually very good! Jerry is sounding like his old self again, singing strong
and getting all the lyrics, and gliding through solo’s without any of the bum notes or uninspired, repetetive
playing that was so common in ’94. This is more like a ’91 than a ’94. Recording is good too. You’re sure to
like it! I would give it 4 stars if it was pre-’94 but given my surprise of finding such a good show for such a
late date I give it a 5!

REVIEW: Wife parks car
Before the show, to park, we were directed on the back dirt road which became a parking lot. I could tell
the show was to start soon and told my wife to park the car as I had to run in. That’s better than paying my
ticket. Luckily I was able to catch Jack Straw, (she didn’t, but she was not as big a fan as I). JS was
incredible; like when the volume and energy just blows you away. You say to yourself, how are just six
guys doing this? I often close my eyes and pretend that I am there again. Bertha, where some would
generally catch some sleep, was also awesome. “We love you Jerry” was heard several times.

REVIEW: memories
oh gosh this show…. first show since 1988 I was shut out of. We got there later than normal, I had no
ticket.. I was so bummed. Halfway through Jack Straw someone say me dancing by the gate and handed me
a ticket… so happy. An excellent night

REVIEW: AWESOME
this was my wife’s first show, i have been looking to score a copy for some time… Thank you x’s 1000!
