Ken Shelin: “Ban Conversion Therapy”

During the City Commission’s regular meeting on January 16th, civil rights activist Ken Shelin asked the commission to ban conversion therapy on minors.

“Conversion therapy, or sometimes known as “reparative therapy,” is a range of discredited practices that falsely claim to change a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.”
