Things that range from the Stones, Zappa, 10 Years After, Laurie Anderson, Leonard Cohen, Hubert Laws, Philip Glass, Keith Jarrett, Deep Purple, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Fugs, The Bonzo Dog Band, The Dark Bob, Biff Rose (that one cost 44 cents) Arthur Brown, CSN&Y, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Steve Miller, Simon and Garfunkel and others. Purple Mike's goal is to not play anything more than once except maybe The Fugs tune "When the Mood of the Music Changes.

Outta the basement …..On the road
OTB…..ON THE ROAD!!!
When the mood of the music changes (FUGS)…..and On The Road It changes every week….I have
been live recording most of the live music I hear and share it with our listeners. The Journey started, July 4, 2022 at the Portland Oregon Waterfront Blues Fest and continued through the summer with a jog through Canada and down the East coast.
In 2023 the recordings continued during a 90 day Eurail pass through Europe recording as I travelled and sending the music back to the station to be played on the air. Over the fall and winter recordings were made at local live music venues and played on the air.
Well it’s 2024 and the “road” music continues starting with the Lafayette International Music fest.
This summer I will be heading through the North central and eastern USA.
