Professor Zunes is a prominent specialist on the politics of the Middle East and other regions, nonviolence, conflict resolution, U.S. foreign policy, and globalization. Our second guest will be Aaron Virgin, Chief Executive Officer of Save Our Seabirds. Save our Seabirds Wild Bird Learning Center is a non-profit wildlife conservation and education organization located on the former site of The Pelican Man’s Bird Sanctuary on City Island in Sarasota. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured birds, and to educate the public about nature and environmental sustainability. Birds that have been rescued but are unable to be returned to the wild are given permanent homes in their Wild Bird Learning Center
