Clicking off another one of his campaign promises, President Donald Trump issued an executive order at the end of January banning immigration from seven predominately Muslim countries. The ban itself and the way it was rolled out has been temporarily suspended by order of federal courts in Washington state and Minnesota, but it is not over yet. Hassan Shibly (above) executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will join Steve and Lew this week to talk about the consequences and implications of the ban on not only Muslim-Americans but all Americans.
Later in the show, Baylor Johnson, communications director for the ACLU of Florida will talk about the work the ACLU as done in regard to the travel ban and what other civil liberties may be challenged next.
