We’ve lost some true icons: Little Richard, John Prine, Eddie Van Halen and Bill Withers to name a few.
There have been some others that we’ll miss as well, people like Jerry Jeff Walker, Justin Townes Earle, Charley Pride, Charlie Daniels, and Kenny Rogers.
And then there are those who had a meaningful impact on the American musical scene without ever becoming household names, artists such as Pete Carr, Jimmy Capps, Len Barry, Marty Grebb and more.
