This Wednesday, May 3 at 9am we’ll first talk to Jay Wolin, minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota. We’ll talk about reproductive justice, laws restricting DEI and teaching African American history, the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, and New College. He has taken Thich Nhat Hanh’s Five Mindfulness Trainings – see a summary here.
Our second guest will be Queen Meccasia Zabriskie, Associate Professor of Sociology at New College. She’ll be leading the African American Policy Forum’s National Day of Action event Wednesday night, starting at 5pm at Fogartyville.
