REVIEW: great show from this era
good sound board quality jerry is on this show. enjoy
REVIEW: excellent show
This is a great show, Jerry is on and the whole band is really in full swing. I especially loved the Black Muddy River. Sound quality is right on as one
would expect from an SBD.
REVIEW: meh
Nothing great, nothing awful. Seemed short to me as I listened to it…although I did skip the Drums>Space. Decent sound.
REVIEW: WOW over 7 thousand D/Ls and 4 reviews?
I will never ceased to be amazed at how critical we can be of this shows. It has a great sound Iko Iko reminds me of a steam train gathering speed as it rolls…smooth. Jerry guitar work makes me smile almost every time and that Hammond B-3 sound cannot be beat… enjoy this for what it is…another show by the greatest band ever…not bad…not great…but another night with the good ol’ Grateful Dead.
REVIEW: Okay
Great quality and well-played by the band, but the sets are fairly typical of the late ’80’s.
REVIEW: Low energy but well played
Worth a listen but nothing really stands out. Far from a bad show, I’d label it as well played but extra laid back
REVIEW: Set Closing Loser
In 21 years I have only found 1 & 1/2 shows from this run. The Kaiser was my all time favorite Dead venue. Even during this time there were shows with no line waiting to get in. The park across was priceless. Shows were generally winter time, so they had a cold dark atmosphere to the surroundings. 4 shows in 5 nights. This was the only non holiday show. The next nights were Valentines, Mardis Gras, and Chinese New Year’s. Each night had the auditorium in even more decoration. I like the jam out of Gimme Some Lovin’ and the Other One>Sat Night. This show and run featured exceedingly short sets. I am playing Gimme Some Lovin’ thru Sat Night on my radio show this week. Check it out. Peace
REVIEW: Great show for first of the year.
It loses some steam after Drums, but the rest is pretty killer.
