I’ve seen thousands of reviews over the years, but this actually explains “A Deadhead”…
“REVIEW: stella
As a new fan of the Dead it was years before I realized the importance of the tears streaming down
the face of the girl beside me. She seemed to be having a religious experience. Now I know why”
“Yesterday’s Dead Today’s” Halloween “special”!
Before tonight’s concert, a word of apology…one of my main tenants of this show is that “music
must have been played by The Dead, by one or more members of The Dead, or, members of Dead
Family bands, etc….” However, tonight is Halloween, and I might not ever get this chance again…
One of my favorite groups is Fairport Convention, and my favorite tune of theirs is “Tam Lin”.
“Tam Lin” has been described as “the greatest Halloween song of all time”. Additionally, one of
my other favorite groups is The Slambovian Circus Of Dreams. I had scheduled this tune to open
tonight’s broadcast long before I knew that The Circus would be appearing at Fogartyville on
November 13th!

to preview the rest of it as well!

And(if I remember to play the recording…), to further violate my rule of not broadcasting tunes not
covered by The Dead family, background music:
Mike Oldfield “Tubular Bells” Cologne, Germany 11/2/82
“Today’s Dead Tomorrow”, Upcoming Gig Events
As always, verify with the venue…
Remember, folks, to call the venue to see if they are indeed open in the
first place, and the event is going on as scheduled, and what protocols are in place.
