An Independent Artist. Born and raised in Holmes Beach, a small barrier island south of Tampa Bay, Bystrom developed a passion for world music at an early age, falling in love first with the sounds of the Caribbean and later immersing himself in the work of a wide array of African artists. At sixteen, he began performing live and writing his own songs. Over the past decade Trevor played 1000’s of shows, and 100’s of Festival. Most recent collaboration Album “Mawanga & Bystrom” fuses American and Malawian culture into an adventurous, inventive, and deeply moving testament to our shared humanity.
Percy Abain
Abain, a native of Bamenda, Cameroon, has carved a unique path in the music world. His talents encompass composing, producing, and performing, allowing him to create a distinct and powerful sound.
Peter Mawanga is a Malawian musician and record producer. Since his debut release in 2003, he has developed a musical style of traditional Malawian rhythms and instruments fusioned with modern sounds.
