This Wednesday, May 10 at 9am, we’ll talk to Charley and Pam Rogers, volunteers with the Pachamama Alliance. Pachamama Alliance envisions a world that works for everyone: an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet—a New Dream for humanity. And their mission is “to empower Indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture and, using insights gained from that work, to educate and inspire individuals everywhere to bring forth a thriving, just and sustainable world.”
Also, take a look at PROJECT DRAWDOWN. The Drawdown Roadmap charts a path to accelerate climate solutions before it’s too late.
Our second guests will be Kaity Danhey-Samitz and Sarah Parker from Women’s Voices of Southwest Florida. They’ll talk about Floridians Protecting Freedom who have just started a drive to collect over 800,000 petitions by this December. If that goal is reached, it would place the “Amendment to Limit Government Interference With Abortion” on the ballot as a question in Florida in 2024. And if passed, it would make abortion legal in Florida.
