On Tuesday, the Sarasota County Commission will take steps to expand the waste dump, and the City of Venice will set in motion terminal and hangar construction at the municipal airport. 

Sarasota will vote to fill six seats of the 10-seat Charter Review Board this year.

This comes after the addition of Sarasota’s majority Black district to the National Register of Historic Places.
