This Wednesday at 9am, live on the phone, Bob and I will talk to Patti Brigham, President of the League of Women Voters of Florida.
We’ll talk about the League’s new effort to register citizens with past felonies who are now able to vote because of Amendment 4, and we’ll describe exactly who can and cannot register and vote.
The photo above is from the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition which also works to help returning citizens to vote, often by helping to pay fines and restitution.
We’ll also talk about the League’s many other efforts in the areas of voter education, gun safety, health care, natural resources, clean energy, ethics and campaign finance, reproductive health and justice, immigration, juvenile justice, national popular vote, and poverty.
