Jennifer "JR" Rippel was born and raised in New Jersey. She then lived in western Massachusetts for almost 20 years, where she was a CPA at a construction and real estate firm. She previously served on the board of a historical theater, and she is currently a volunteer tax preparer through the AARP TaxAide program. She lives in downtown Sarasota with her husband.

Brian Jones is a writer and photographer living in Sarasota. He is an adjunct professor at the Ringling College of Art and Design. His passion for music and social change drew him to WSLR+Forgartyville where he is a programmer on Wednesday evenings with his show Jazz and More.

Ed Subkis has had a long career in public radio. He managed stations in New York, Florida, North Carolina and California and has been a believer in community radio since the 1970s. His wife, Bunny, grew up in Sarasota and they always knew they would come back. They returned in 2016 and now enjoy the beaches, gardening and, of course, WSLR+Fogartyville.

Chris is instrumental in continuing to develop Fogartyville as a premier listening room and gathering place, and to keep WSLR up and running smoothly.

Arlene is a co-founder of WSLR 96.5 Community Radio and the Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center and the general manager.

Dave fell in love with radio when he was a board op in college.  He taught film at Manatee Community College, co-founded Fogartyville Cafe  and was a co-founder of WSLR.
