We spoke to Shannon Kondos, mother of 16 year old Natalie Kondos who started her first non-profit organization called Instruments of Hope.
This very young non-profit intents to help communities affected by natural disasters by providing instruments free of charge. As written by Natalie herself in a press release, musical expression can be a powerful healing tool and she hopes to help re-establish a feeling of peace, stability, and joy in children’s hearts as their communities rebuild.
WSLR+Fogartyville is a center for creative expression and community engagement that amplifies the voices of our diverse community, and promotes peace, sustainability, democracy, and economic and social justice.
