The Alliance for Fair Foods and the Coalition of Immokalee Workers have been organizing boycotts of Wendy’s restaurants to protest that company’s decision not to join the fair food program. A spokesperson from the Alliance will join Steve and Lew this week to update us on the efforts to get the country’s third largest hamburger chain to get on board and support farm workers. But first, Arlene Sweeting will be in the studio to talk about her run for a position on the Sarasota County Charter Review Board.
